aimia_awards2007Having worked hand in hand with others in the mid-1990s to establish the first few AIMIA awards and AIMIA's website (phew all that was a lot of work!) I was interested to note the results announced last Friday at the 13th annual AIMIA awards. They recognise excellence in multimedia (AKA interactive media, new media, digital media, online media, Internet). Check out the winners at AIMIA's Website.

 

Chris Winter (ABC Digital, Sydney), was this year's winner for the Outstanding Contribution Award. This is the fourth decade in which Chris has been at the forefront of new music and new media. Congratulations to him and all other winners and the organisers of this year's awards.
