Noric Dilanchian conducted a workshop for Legalwise Seminars at the Radisson Plaza Hotel, Sydney. The workshop was titled Clause Drafting for Effective Commercial Documents. It provided drafting tips for contract and clause architecture. Clauses considered were service level agreements / KPIs, intellectual property rights granted clauses, confidential information clauses, retention of title clauses, restraint of trade (AKA non-competition) clauses, termination clauses, dispute resolution clauses, and jurisdiction clauses and online business.

Noric Dilanchian was scheduled to speak on business collaborations and structuring at the State Legal Conference, Wentworth Hotel, Sydney. This paper surveys recent legal and commercial developments affecting online ventures. In doing so the paper touches on developments in copyright, trade mark, contract and IT law practice and procedure. For other sectors it then draws out trends, strategies and ideas useful for the formation of successful collaborative arrangements and business structuring.
