Noric Dilanchian established Dilanchian in 2000. His prior experience as a lawyer was in national and medium-sized law firms and before that with Angus & Robertson Publishers.

Noric has had extensive experience in drafting contracts and supporting materials such as clause libraries. He excels in helping clients integrate legal, business and innovation strategy to protect, document, manage and commercialise intellectual property, technology and knowledge assets. He has over 20 years of experience as a specialist in all fields of intellectual property law with expertise in deal making and contracting, and international experience in the entertainment, IT, publishing and technology industries. This is complemented by his substantial experience in business structuring, business sale and purchase transactions, human resources management, trade practices, general commercial law and dispute resolution.

Noric's market knowledge over a broad range of industries, combined with his multi-disciplinary approach to business and legal issues, strengthens the practicality of his advice for clients.

Clients he regularly advises are active in various sectors of business and professional services,  technology research and commercialisation, Web 2.0, information technology, marketing, retailing and distribution, publishing, entertainment and media.

Noric has published over 75 conference presentations, published articles, reports and industry submissions. He keeps up-to-date with developments through his very active involvement as a speaker and chair of seminars, workshops and conferences.

Noric's perspective and practical focus has been shaped by serving on boards and in industry associations.

He is a former president of AIMIA - the national industry association for e-commerce, internet, and interactive media developers.
